We know that it's not feasible for our small team to personally accompany every individual seeking charism discernment. However, by completing this program, you will be empowered to bring this transformative ministry directly to your local parish and community, making a significant impact in the lives of those searching for purpose and direction in their walk with Christ.
This training is offered at a low cost, ensuring accessibility for all who are passionate about sharing the love of God through charism accompaniment.
(We highly encourage parishes to consider sponsoring individuals to participate in this program as part of their mission to support the ongoing spiritual development of their community members, and one seat to this training is included in every parish package we offer.)
Our Volunteer Charism Discernment Training is a self-directed program over the course of 3 months that will teach you to walk with individuals and small groups in your local area through the process of charism discernment.
Each week for two months we will release a new training for you to view and take a quiz on in your own time and the final month will be spent going through your first charism discernment process with someone in your local community.
Our Volunteer Charism Accompaniment Training Program is designed for individuals like you, who want to be equipped to accompany others in their charism discernment process. This program is perfect for parish volunteers, ministry leaders, and individuals who are committed to serving their local community.
This session will lay the foundation for all your future work with charisms by teaching you the basics of charisms, where they come from in Scripture and Tradition, and how to recognize them.
Knowing all 24 charisms intimately is the foundational skill of helping people discern their charisms well, so you'll be spending time in this session learning about all 24 and how they serve the Church.
Before we learn how to help people through discernment it is vital that we have an understanding of our personal identity and how it impacts the use of our charisms. This session covers what Christian identity is, how we can shift it, and why it's important.
In this session we go over the benefits of charism discernment and why it is worth the time, energy, and attention necessary to discern well.
In this session we cover what role the assessment plays in discernment and how to prepare people well to take the assessment for the most illuminating, helpful results.
In this session we cover how to post-process assessment results with someone, as well as how to help them strategize for the discernment process, as well as strategies for moving people towards a commitment to their charisms.
In this session we explore the four models of parish charism discernment and learn how to faciliate both one on one and small group models that can be used in any charism discernment setting (whether tied to a parish or not).
To complete your program you will engage in a simple Charism Discernment practicum, going through the process of discernment with someone prior to certification and reporting on the experience.

This training is for anyone who wants to help people in their local community discern their charisms.
You do not need to be formally affiliated with a parish or charism ministry to join.
The regular price for this training is $99, but for a limited time we are offering enrollment for $69.

After checkout is completed, you will be automatically added to the course and you will access it through your account on our Many Parts Ministries website.
No course content will be available until March 1 and then will be released weekly.
Absolutely! We have a forum on Discord for all our volunteer training students moderated by Community Manager.
Our Administrative Assistant and Community Manager are available to answer your technical questions on a daily basis and there will be one live call with Jill available to all students to answer questions.
The training is 3 months long. The first two months you will be working through new weekly modules and taking a brief quiz to show your mastery.
The final month of the program is focused on completing your practicum and going through the discernment process with someone in your local area.
There will be new modules released each Friday beginning on March 1, 2024, but you are able to complete your coursework anytime throughout the 3 months of your program.
To successfully complete the program you do need to complete all coursework.
There are no prerequisites to this training, except an openness to the Holy Spirit and faith that grace moves powerfully through His presence.

We also have programs available for parishes that include enrollment in this program free of charge.
All the course materials - the weekly video trainings, worksheets, and additional resources - are available in your training portal accessed through your login on ManyPartsMinistries.com.
No materials will be available, even in your portal, until the course officially starts on March 1, 2024.
You will have access to the content for 6 months.
If you are not able to complete you program in the 3 month timeline, you have up to an additional 3 months to complete it before your access is revoked.
If you would like to be trained in the future after an incomplete attempt you would need to reenroll as a new student.
Most modules have a simple quiz at the end to test for understanding of the concepts explained.
There are also reflection questions in many modules, but those are for your own use and do not need to be turned in.
There is also a written assignment that will be turned in to complete your volunteer training practicum during the final month of your program.
